Starting from being a half an hour program on DD-Metro AAJ TAK has marked it's journey to becoming one of the people's channel. I hope the news that I m writing a review on it is already on air at 9'oclock news or rather ''Nao Baje''
1) TEZ is it really?
I guess the channel's caption is ''AAJ TAK SABSE TEZ''
But is it really that TEZ I don't think so.... coz sometimes they just r not there where they r supposed to be. Like the Attack on the Raghunath Mandir case.Only star news was the fastest and the very detailed.....I am not saying that Aaj tak did not cover it but all they do is get the news that there is some important event going on and there is their so called Samvadata who says the same things like a thousand times and they call it entire report.
2) News readers.... or experts and annalysists?
Almost all the news readers think that they are not only Newsreader's but also expert and annalysists of everythink may it be cricket or football or politics or weather. Not to mention their annoying comments on the news at the end of the report. One particular Newsreader ''Mr.Deepak Chaurasia.'' caught my eye.... a Bihari MP type of accent he is a dude who wears a blazor without using a razor (on his face).''I don't know what is clean shaved'' Mr.Deepak Chaurasia is undoubtedly the most annoying reader on Aaj Tak.
3) Special's (the only plus point maybe?)
Special programs like ''Jurm'' and ''Cinema Aaj Tak''are the only programs that impress me coz they got real news and stuff to watch. ''Seedhi Baat''hosted by''Mr.Prabhu Chawla''make me want to throw my TV set out from my house balcony. Mr.Chawla behaveouslike a 3 or 4 year child who is first time on TV...he is too excited about his program.... I don't know the reason why...moreover I feel like Mr.Chawla is from another planet...not to mention his never stopping speech that make the intreview or Seedhi Baat rather Thedi Baat. In the half an hour show he talks for about 30 mins. and the guest talks the rest...not to mention the stupid, senseless questions he asks and jumps on conclusions even before the answer is out from the guest's mouth.
4)Re-runs.
The same news is repeated after every half an hour or so from 11'o clock in the morning to 5'o clock in the evening.pretty pathetic isn't it to listen to the same news again and again.
In the end ''Aaj Tak'' being a good channel misses out in the race of really good media channel that INDIA is in great need of.
