I am an engineer passed out from VCET college of 2016 batch.
I have enjoyed every bit of my engineering life and has seen many faces of engineers life, positive as well as negative. Some incident changes you drastically some make you stronger, some weaker.
Well this is a part of engineering and you have to feel it else you will not be a worth engineer.
About this college,
This college has good infrastructure and they are still improving it. Construction is on and will be completed till next admissions.
A huge gate for intrance and inside parking will attract you towards this college.
No worry for water as there are coolers on every floor.
Toilets are the area where this college has invested more and it reflects when you experience them.
Office staff is also very helpful and will not disappoint you.
About staff members,
I am from Instrumentation branch and haven't felt that much disappointed, though there will be one teacher who will annoy you( it's common everywhere) .
Other branches has good young teachers and experienced HODS.
About Canteen,
Canteen is the most important area for any student specially for engineers.
This college has good canteen from the point of infrastructure and has sufficient table sizes to complete assignments. For food I will suggest you to look outer source because the quality is not satisfying though you can have snacks there or breakfast also.

About Alumni function,
This college has a good alumni network which includes students that left college 10 years back and had achieved something in there life.
Alumni function is available for them to recall memories.
About Extracurricular programs,
There will be visits planned outside of college to give you more practical knowledge and will be minimum 2 visits every year. It can help for your final year projects.
There are many tech-fests available to provide you chance to experience the engineering atmosphere. These helps the most.
Students council is available where you can participate and enhance your managing skills.
Cultural events will give you chance to show your traditional side.
And don't worry for sport events you will not be disappointed.
I guess that's enough to have a basic idea about this college.
