We have two smart phones at home right now that we are using, also at same time we are using normal phones, reason, as by parents they are much comfortable with simple phone rather than any 4.5 inch - 5.5 Inch phones - smartphone or Tab.
Till last year we have tried - Sony erricsson, Nokia, Samsung and in all I have found Sony erricsson is so so type, now locked in cupboard - no use, Nokia - battery life and built quality superb but sound quality not good and also now facing many problems, but Samsung Guru is really a Guru of all these in this test.
First of all by price it is just cost 1400 rupees where as others are 2000 and 3500!
Ya these phones are just for calling features and sms but really easy to handle by new ones and easy to use. In this Samsung Guru E1207T,
the sound clarity is too nice, keypad are good and comfortable to use, Good battery life,
plus have many nice basic needs features like battery save [that I gets only in smartphone before in this phone] world clock, converter, calculate, Torch very nice, FM is also there. Few wallpapers. It is Dual sim, that is also good, at this price.
Call waiting, Call forwarding and phon book can save up to 1000 numbers.
It is really very good phone for my parents, happy with its all features, smoothness, no hangs, good battery life.
If you do not want to waste time in playing games, it is good phone.
Overall for calling, text messaging, it is very good phone, in budget, good for those who need phone just for calling and good text messaging.
I am happy I have Samsung normal phone.
