Rukmini temple is a marvellous temple which is located at pandharpur in solapur district. I visited this temple during my visit to solapur. The temple is easily accessible from solapur as it is well connected to road and railway.
The temple is a famous pilgrims attraction, many pilgrims comes to visiting this temple from various parts of the country. The temple is dedicated to goddess Rukmini the wife of lord krishna. Local people of pandharpur worshipped Rukmini as a chief deity.
The temple is located on the bank of chandra bhaga river. The temple is very beautiful and it's architecture is excellent. It's outer view is awesome and looks great. I was impressed by it's structure that was fabulous. When we entered the temple we saw a beautiful idol of goddess Rukmini standing in sanctuary with smiling face which makes the pious happy. There we saw a sabha mandap it was the bedroom of goddess Rukmini it was covered with silver sheet and there we saw several pictures of goddess Rukmini related to her wedding story, it is the major attraction of this temple. I saw first time, this kind of temple in my life the temple was something different. The temple is easily accessible and there were many hotels to stay there for accommodation. This is a unique temple. You must visit this fabulous temple.
