Characters:

Farhan Akhtar : Aditya

Arjun Rampal: Joey

Luke Kenny : Rob

Purab Kohli : KD

Shahana Goswami : Debbie

Prachi Desai : Sakhshi

Plot: Aditya, Joey, Rob and KD, when young, together forms a band, wherein Aditya is singer, Joey the lead guitarist, Rob the orchestrian and KD the killer drummer. Debbie is Joey's girlfriend who does the styling for this band called Magik. Aditya has a girlfriend too. lots of practise sessions happening before Magik can perform for a contest and this may remind you some scenes from DCH. But, its all about music in this movie. Magik wins that contest and they are asked to signed some contracts. Aditya make compromises to certain T&C which infuriates Joey. He confronts Aditya and leaves the band. In a state of shock, Aditya too feels guilty and deserts everything (including his girlfriend). This is how Magik splits

Aditya is then shown as a serious businessman married to Sakhshi. And, please note that Sakhshi is pregnant. Through a chain of circumstances, she meets KD. She comes to know about her husband's musical past. She gets excited and revisits hir past through his old junks. She invites Rob and KD for a surprise to Aditya. This infurites Aditya and he chides Sakhshi for creating a trouble for him. She dramatises like a woman with lots and lots of tears that tear his heart apart. So, he comes a fresh lease to his past life. They agree to meet again to revive Magik. All differences sorted out. But, Rob is now suffering from Brain Tumor. Also, Debbie keep pestering Joey for revoking his earlier vows of dismantling Magik. But, he keeps going to the practise sessions. One fine day, a channel V contest is announced. Rob wants to participate and win it before dying. Sakhshi is all happy, seeing her husband happy.With so many emotional blackmails happening to Joey from Debby, Joey somehow manage to participates in the final contest. And Guess what.. They win.. Rock On!

Recommendation: YES Its a worth watch for the following reasons:

1) We believe Heroes must really sing themselves [Farhan you really sing well]

2) You always want to see Heroine crying. Who will take note of them otherwise? [Prachi You Are So Cute]

3) Goa And Rocking Lives are inseparable. [Shot in Goa, Man!]

4) Music, Masti, Magic.. [Total Timepass]

5) Awesome lyrics in each song..

And, remember these sequences do happen in a beautiful life. So movie is not a hypothetical stuff.

Moral and Morale: Sometimes a minuscule event can set the trigger for a gigantic happenings. Remember butterfly's flutter can cause tsunamis? So, always watch your every action. Sindabad the Sailor will tell you the rest of morals.. Do listen it!

As if someone is listening: After every sequence shot, there iris in..s a Flashback.. For why and how kind of explanation..? Its like brain exercise for you to remember now you are in present and just now you are in past. What is this Abhishek K? And why Prachi’s kid was named after Rob? To show respect to the dead? No Reason was attributed for it! "JAVED Ji Ladka Heera hai Heera.. Ab toh Hero bhi ban gayaa!"
