The Features:
W.A.P. : This is the World’s first W.A.P. (Wireless Application Protocol) complaint cell phone. It has functions which even the latest W.A.P. phones do not offer. The ‘Large Screen’ & the easy-to-use ‘Rolling navigator button’ are the main adaptations of this mobile phone. The surfing software is really good and stable.
Phone Book : It possesses one of the largest memory available in any cell phone found in the market. It has the storage capacity of around 1000 names which are stored as a business card with many phones numbers (office, home, mobile) under the same name just as Business cards. These names can also be classified under caller groups (Friends, V.I.P., etc.) personalized to different ring tones and logos.
SMS : The phone’s SMS storing capacity is also a unique feature. It can store up to 150 SMS which can be classified under different folders. This allows the user to store all those lovely SMS which one would like to keep for future viewing and sending.
Calendar : The phone possesses an in-built calendar in which the user can store appointments, birthdays, notes, etc. This keeps the user from forgetting anything. Hence all those important dates and meeting will never be forgotten again.
Games & other software : The phone also contains a few new games which are very rare even in Nokia handsets. Other software includes profiles, call register, etc.
The Look:
The look is one of the only drawbacks of this phone. Though this a bit bulky look may look stylish to some, all may not like it. There a button at the back of the phone – on pressing of which the flap opens up with a spring action. This makes the onlookers go gaga.
The Battery:
The battery life for this phone is reasonably good. Although even Nokia doesn’t give the exact battery life, one thing for sure that the Nokia 7110 has a battery which sure will last long - about 250 hrs standby and 4.5 hrs. talk time.
Conclusion:
All-in-all this mobile phone offers an array of new features and functions which even the latest phones don’t offer. At its current price it is definitely a very good buy unless one opts for something smaller & sleeker.
