I was frantically on the search for a low budget camera+bluetooth fone when I came across this moto baby....it was a new release at that time....

And was a very sexy looking fone for such a small budget....it costed around 5500  then...(may 2006) and the major competitor to it was the Sony ericsson K310i....but it had no bluetooth..and it never looked as upmarket as this moto was....so I cashed in on the moto L6....

Got it for Rs 5350....and it was the cheapest mobile then available with a cam and bluetooth...plus it looked awesome...the flourescent blue keypad lite was super seductive at night...so I was totally excited about ma new partner....And she didnt disappoint either....It was a bit hard for me getting used to the moto ways of using the fone as I was using a nokia earlier...

Cam quality of this fone is nothing to boast about...just an average one.....a very basic VGA cam....colours come out a bit washed away...but still the cam is pretty decent, though not as good as that of the sony ericssons or nokias boarding VGA cams.....

The screen quality is also not great....but has a larger screen compared to most other fones of this price range....and speaking of the sound quality....the sound through the backspeaker is pretty loud and has awesome quality....its very nice hearin music thru the backspeaker....but the main problem with the music player of the fone is that it doesnt have volume control !!!! A big overlook this certainly is....as we can hear songs in only the highest volume....no adjustments can be made... : (

And another problem I had was the absence of fm radio....but I think this has been rectified in the newer version L6i... Also, searchig for a picture  in the folder could take a lot of time as u cant search pics or ano media files by its name...u gotta go through the list to find it out....so sometimes it does get to ur nerves....And GPRS in this is very slow compared to nokia and sony ericssons of its category....Other than these flaws, the moto l6 is a terrific fone.....comfortable to hold.....sexy looking.....value for money fone....and did I forget to mention?? it has a METAL BODY !!! super strong...and solidly built.....And it even makes some high end nokia fones feel shame coz it can be charged via USB if u have a data cable....dats damn cool ! And even now...after 2 and a half years...it still makes heads turn.....that is the style of this fone....And worth mentioning is that inspite of 2 and a half years of use, the phone has not given me a single problem...NOT EVEN A SINGLE PROBLEM with the hardware or software...now thats what I call reliability....But I shud mention that the battery has lost its charge carrying capacity to a huge extent....that is the only big problem I can point out..even on full charge, my fone doesnt  last for more than 24 hours even if I dont talk a single minute....:( ....and on  full charge, the battery stands only  for abt 2 and a half hours of talktime...But this problem can be almost completely rectified by replacing the battery...So in my opinion, the reliability of the phone is top notch....although in some areas, quality is not excellent..for eg...the fone heats up a lot when we talk for more than an hour...but I observed this only after 2 years of usage...this meant that only when the L6 gets old, it gets this problem..

In october 2007, I got myself the Sony ericsson w610i....but I still use my motorola L6 also...as I use 2 numbers....And till date...i have never felt bored of the moto baby..and to frankly say, IT STILL ROCKS !!!!!! :)
