This is a movie which brings out the human in all of us.. Watch it to feel human. Watch it to feel emotions for which there is no time in this seemingly busy world.. Just Watch It & feel LOVE...
The whole concept on which it is based is not new. It has been tried before by the likes of Rakesh Roshan in his marvel story - Koi Mil Gaya. So I won't say that it is a fresh concept & it is different. This movie is in no way different but still it needs to be appreciated. Not for the story or concept or any other thing, but only for the sake of great performances by all the actors in the movie.
Amazingly brilliant work done by Ajay Devgan, Esha Deol, Sushmita Sen & the girl who played the role of GUNGUN..!!
The movie lacks logic and is not fully researched. Autism is not what the movie displays. It is much more than just stagnant mental growth. An autistic child lives in his own world. He lives in isolation. He is not able to express or feel emotions. He lives in his own way. To be an autistic child is much more than this... So the autistic word is not at all used in correct way. It is misused. So the movie lacks on some points but still its watchable.
Ajay Devgan - He plays Neel. Neel's character is that of a physically grown-up man but with brain that of a seven year old kid. He does full justice to the role and gives awesome performance.
Sushmita Sen - As a lawyer she exhibits power, as a mother she exhibits love, as a human being she exhibits emotions.... and everything in her own wonderful way which woos each & everyone. Hats off to her for making such an impact!!
Esha Deol - She comes in the frame for a while but enthralls us all. She acted well. Looked cute.
Gungun steals the heart of all. She gives a stellar performance. Her eyes speaks for her. Each & every emotion is displayed tactfully & naturally.
So go for it if you really want to see great actors. If you are looking for entertainment then avoid this one...
But whatever is the choice, remember 'Main Aisa Hi Hoon' is all about acceptance. Accepting abnormal people in our normal world coz its not their fault that they are abnormal. They need more love & they do deserve love by all of us so-called Normal Beings!!
Be Human! Be good always!!
