I recently did my PG diploma here at MCC Tambaram and I am only satisfied a little. Not so great experience. My previous university, SRM was far better than this.
Here is my experience -
About the MCC Campus -> Excellent Campus. Its actually a Autonomous college of Madras University. Can also called as a Quasi Govt College and the campus gives the feel of the free air nature which I enjoyed at the IIT campus in my school days.
Campus is kept clean and is well organised.
Reaching this Campus from any part of the city is easy as its located close by to Tambaram Railways Station, bus Terminus and frequent Auto and taxi Services.
Campus has got 2 Canteens But are found little dirty because of the cheapo kiddish students activity there.
MCC also has large parking lots for both two wheeler and cars.
MCC has got most of all facilities like Cricket, football, volleyball, Tennis and basketball Fields.
About the Education and Staff ->
Another excellent thing in the College. Excellent Staffing. Each and every staff is good qualified and most importantly very friendly. They teach things even out of the book.
I was much satisfied with Staff and their Stuff.
The Courses wer not that professional. I mean they just give out outlines of the course and nothing in deep. But they give out a lot of practical experiences and this was very helpful for me.
The Most important thing is - Their Certificate is not recognized anywer. Better to do at LIBA or Madras Univ.
Students ->
The most worst thing I came across the campus. Most of them were in the courses just for time pass and enjoyment. Most of em dont attend class normally and very irregular.
And over this the most worst thing among these kids was, all of em wer very kiddish. Very Childish in mentality. Lots of misunderstanding and not friendly at all.
And just for this reason, I would never visit this campus ever again. I am sure how these kids are going to survive outside.!
Verdict - Just like I said before, this college is good ONLY for Education because of quite Campus and excellent staff there. But For Friendship with students there? this campus is the worst ever.
