If you've watched the movie French Kiss - you will recognize the plot of this drama! Despite the unoriginal plot, I quite enjoyed this drama.

The story is about Vinny - a young girl engaged to her long-time friend Asad. Asad accepts a job in Mauritus and leaves with the promise to write and keep in touch with his fiance - That doesn't happen! Instead, he become enamored with his employer's lovely daughter, Anusha (Vaneeza).

After getting the cold shoulder from Asad (and some other family circumstances), Vinny decides to go to Mauritus and find Asad. On the plane she meets Humayun Saeed (Don't remember his name in the Drama)- who becomes the bane of her existences. Coincidentally, Humayun Saeed is Anusha's cousin and fiance!

The rest of the drama is set in Mauritus with Vinny trying to find her fiance and her numerous encounters with Humayun Saeed!

I enjoyed the acting of Nadia Jamil and Humayun Saeed - both had a good rapport with one another (you really were rooting for them to get together)! Asad and VAneeza were weak in their roles! The plot was obviously stolen from a big Hollywood Movie (French Kiss) and you'd expect something a little better from a great writer like Haseena Moeen. Also, most of the drama was shot in Mauritus. While this made much of the cinematography impressive - it also meant that there long sequences of showing us the sights and sounds of Mauritus. Sometimes I felt like I was watching a tourism video! This would really slow down the story as well.

All in all, it isn't the best of Haseena Moeen's works - but enjoyable none the less!
