I bought this Hyundai i20 2012 Era 1.2 Petrol version from the VTJ Hyundai outlet in Vyttila, Kochi, Ernakulam, Kerala. They failed to educate me about the issues with this lower end version. They are not customer friendly at all. You can chose MGF, POPULAR other dealers if you are going with Hyundai.

- Remote entry feature cant be installed after purchase as the Original Equipment is not made by the company nor the 3rd party(Auto Cop etc) can be installed as the warranty gets VOID if the wiring is slit during installation.
2.Touch panel cant be installed as in case of other car makers as the company is not making 2din consoles neither the same is available for local purchase.
3.FM Radio receiver is half installed or the wiring is not completed at the time of the delivery thats quite common with all era series.We should spent on getting this done again after purchase
About the Vechicle: Ride quality is quite good, Its a great hatchback, Very smooth and efficient. As compared to the CRDi Version definitely lack the response on the throttle as the 1.2 version petrol seems lacking the power.
Era -Its also lacks the steering and seat adjustment as the road view is very limited hence recommended for someone who is tall. Magna and other variants has the seat adjustments.
Dont ever go for the ERA version, Just done with the first service average mileage -16kmpl
