I wish a warm greeting to all the unicorn lovers. You reviews help me a lot to choose this bike to purchase in 150 CC. Can any one help me about the delivery time of Unicorn premium Black color booking and delivery time ... plz.I have booked the unicorn black color on the 27/03/09 last month I heard from many that it will take a long time span to deliver approx 1 month (minimum). So please any can suggest the time of delivery.
Here I am posting my experience with the unicorn - Do ever thing about the royal things which are used by very few people same with the unicorn also it is a class of bike and only the unicorn lovers knows the value of their bike.So I am coming about the my test ride.
- Self / Kick start -
Before I accelerate my bike on the road I had tested the self start and kick start of the bike both are working very fine when I press self start I didn't realize when it started but when I accelerated it I knew that it has been started then again I switch off the engine and then started with kick and I can't tell you I started in a single kick with almost negligible effort. So all the things are going well up till very well.
2 Gear shift pattern -
It is almost butter on knife no extra effort just a push require to shift the gears.
- Accelerator movement -
Accelerator is not so tight and it is just like a pulling a very smooth spring . I found many accelerator tight and many of people do not pay attention toward it.
4.Engine -
It is given the constant performance no vibrations at all on higher speed.
5.Brakes -
Front disk brake was excellent and the rear tyre drum brake was only to slow down your bike not for stopping your bike. Ya but no problem about that it was also good.
The other things which I found -
There is not enough space for placing the documents of bike you have to adjust it under your seat.
The horn was ok and I think the horn suits to its class because it is not a bike which sounds from a distance like other bikes which counts their present from the distance. I hope you understand what I mean to say.
The pellion rider position is excellent and comfortable I sitted on the back tell the guy of showroom to ride the bike because I want to test pillion rider position also.
So this was the test which I have taken on showroom of the unicorn which I think 2 or 2 2/1 year old model. As I am 6'1'' guy so the bike was ok for me in case of hieght.
On the same day I booked my unicorn but even today I haven't got any answer from the showroom when they are going to deliver my bike. So please help me about this matter. I will post my next experience when I got my bike so please help me about this regard and please rate my experience on mouthshut. I booked my bike at Shyam Honda , INDORE.
