Because of Activa engine, Ride comfort, brand, and positive reviews decided to go with Honda Aviator. In March 2010 visited honda matrix showroom, udupi, karnataka to test drive it. But there was no test drive vehicle. Got upset, but directly booked and paid advance for Aviator Deluxe blue color model. Honda Sales guy said waiting period is 2 month! I liked to wait for it. (For activa waiting period was 3 month!)
After frustrated by waiting for just a month time, in April month just called a sales guy to get updates about delivery of aviator. He said, a black aviator deluxe is coming in few days would you like to go with it? .... I was Surprised to know that and accepted the deal. who wanted to wait for another 2 month? Paid full amount of 57350 next day (In April) I have taken delivery with extra fitting ended by paying total 60, 000.
About ride quality, it was amazing like I'm riding a bike. Felt comfortable. Mileage is near 50kmpl. First service is done. Problem I found is only some kind of noise from front side panel. Which was not corrected even after first service. So far aviator clocked 1500 km. Scooter having bit more height as I'm bit short (5.3"). If I had test driven, I may not went with aviator due to height issue. Customer service is not so good. You may feel like you are there to buy a chocolate instead of scooter or bike.
Update: Second service done at 1650km on 30-July-2010, cost me Rs 30/- only! Front vibration issue repair done. Aviator run amazingly, without any issue.
3rd Service done on 04-Nov-2010 cost me Rs 30/- only. Aviator performance is best so far.
Final Update 4th service pending : Sold it on 20th Jan 2011 due to I'm short person for this bike. (5.4")
