If u are done with reading the italised review of mine which I wrote back in Dec pls come down to read the update after 10000kms

"No comparisions, No negativities; I'm just writing wat I feel about my new Hunk.

Having worked hard for a while I thought of giving a gift to myself and tat was promoting from 100cc to 150cc, To be obvious my initial choices were Unicorn or pulsar but I was impatient to wait for 3 months and my bike expert frend said the engine in NEW pulsars isn't tat good for long run and rough handling. it was a boring sunday and a suggestion from my bike expert frend, me and my frends went to hero honda showroom to check out this bike. The moment I kickstarted it I felt this is the one for me. it was like the bike chose me and not the other way.

Enough of story(just my bloging habit) now i'll tell u wats more important for you. before I chose my Hunk from other Hunks my bike expert frend tested every other ones(though showroom folks got bit irritated), 6/7 hunks had some problems of which 3 had engine problems right away, he said some technical terms for it which I didnt understand but the thing I could get was'Frequent visits to mechanic', 'Non-Fixable'; others were alignment problems which he explained tat it might have caused due to tranportation and can be easily adjusted.

Check the engine before you buy

I mentioned about rough handling and its just tat we guys often visit the nearby hill station'Yercaud' and I should tell you this machine works excellent in hills. stability and control is not a problem. It doesn't strain in long runs.

I need not say much about looks. it sure adds more to your character. "

To put it in a single sentence all I wud say is my bike still feels like a brand new one

the smoothness of engine and torque has not detoriated

I didnt talk about the cons in my previous review but let me be more obvious this time.

The mileage has dropped down a bit to 45km/litre and with pillion rider somehwhere between 40-45km/ltr(considering tat I weigh 96kgs tats not bad). most of the 10000km came from long distance travell, I can say almost 50% of it. I travell home from coimbatore to salem(170kms) often and i've never had a hiccup with this bike.

Back pillion is really a pain in the b_ and i've seen guys struggling even after 15kms.

Acceleration is slightly lesser that the Apaches and Pulsars especially you'l see the difference in city trafic, apache gives more hip control which hunk dosen't.

At high speeds the bike looses its thrust for couple of seconds like running in neutral, i'm not sure why this happens and whether if this is common in all Hunks but this was not rectified by service centre even after all these free service,

With new hunk coming in with digital indicators, LED tail lamp, radial tyres and rear discs surely promises more fun.
