I am the proud owner of HH Hunk from past 3.5 years.

Back in 2007, I was out from college and already had the first job in hand and looking for a bike which has

Style

Performance

Reliability

Mileage

When I was googling, I had 3 bikes in my mind i.e., HH Hunk, Honda Unicorn and CBZ Extreme. During mid of November 2007 Finally I finalized for a day where I had test rides of all the bikes

Before going for a test ride I had already owned Suzuki Fiero and CBZ, Hence I had clear picture in mind to what and all to look for in a test ride.

HH Hunk:

When I was sitting on the bike its muscular body impressed me a lot. First gear was not that much powerful, where as in second and third gear the bike Zoooooooooomed up like a rocket. Controlling and power was too good

Honda Unicorn:

This was my sole guru, which I had in mind for purchasing, when I had the test drive the performance was good but it was not that much Muscular like Hunk and more over it was a very decent bike. The main reason why I did not purchase this bike was because I had already read and heard that the bike had some problems with rear shock observer and gear shifts.

HH CBZ Extreme:

HH Hunk and CBZ Extreme are having the same wine but they are in two different bottles. In Extreme I did not find any difference in performance comparatively with HH Hunk. Just the appearance is different. (You know I love the classy Head light of HH CBZ – earlier one and not the new one)

And Finally in December 2007 I purchased HH Hunk from Majestic Motorbikes - Bangalore, at that time there was no publicity or advertisements for the bike and I had ordered for Panther Black and got it within 2 days - Just because of the paperwork (Loan) or else they asked to take it on the same day.

Currently I have clocked around 25000 KM, TRUST me I have not spent a single nickel except regular oil change and twice oil filter (Every 4 Months – That I use to do myself)

I do not use this bike for office commute; I go always on long rides. Believe it or not, as of today my bike does not have any punctures also – Ha Ha….

Still now I am getting somewhere around 45-50 KMS mileage.

I have been to all over the places around Bangalore like Mysore (though it is not my native I have been there almost 40 times in bike – You know I am a TV9 “Heegu Hunte” hunter so whenever I see a show I go up searching up the place), Hogenakkal falls, Kolar and so on…

There are some tips that I would like to share with you all, what I have learnt from my dad:

  1. Do not throttle up more when you are riding at a single gear, if the speed and pickup is sufficient change the gear. Whenever, you increase the accelerator in the same gear it results in engine strain.

  2. Chain alignment and oiling is very important, TRUST me it increases more control over the bike and do not forget to change the engine oil for every 2500-3000 KMS

I had this in my mind to share with you all from a long time…

Thanks,
