Gadsisar Lake is located in the heart of the city of Jaisalmer. It is one km from Jaisalmer fort. In olden time, this lake is the source of water for jaisalmer people.But now it turn to a picnic spot.
People feeds birds and fishes there in morning. The place is good for enjoying sunrise and sunset scenes there. and to spend a peaceful time there., .
There is boating facility also available there. and one can boat in lake at reasonable price.There are stone sculptures at the bank of the lake. There are few stalls there too. for having some food to eat there.
This lake is good for boating, feeding fishes, and to seeing the beauty of sunrise and sunset. and to click some good photographs there. The place need to be more clean. otherwise all fine. can visit in evening. and have some fun.
