A so so book on the espionage (Fav topic of FF). I would still rate him as a better writer than this book suggests.
A nuke stolen.....bla bla bla....
Villan on the loose and whole world doomed. Enter the experts, trying to use all contacts possible. Some close calls as the plot unravels. Mostly we know whats gonna happen but are waiting for something severe to happen.
The author gets the better of us and opens it into a sort of simple plot.
Better to watch the movie with Pierce Brosnin on cast. In the movie, Pierce is percieved as the villan, HO HO HO....what a mistake...to cast such poise to a villan!!!
Yet he manages to steal the magic and makes it an Ok movie to watch.
I would say that his Day of the Jackal and Odessa files are ahead of this book by miles.
The Fourth Protocol may be one book that can be enjoyed more as a movie and less as a literary compose.
