The story of this drama was interesting and quite original.
The drama stars Nadia Jamil and Humayun Saeed. Both actors starred in 'Jaane Anjaane' where they showed excellent chemistry - and they continue this through this drama.
Essentially, the story begins with 2 sisters - both sisters have always had the long cherished hope that their children would marry. Yasir (Humayun Saeed's older brother) has always wanted to marry Nadia. Nadia is not so interested. She is too career minded to want to get married. Moreover, she doesn't really like Yasir at all - he is opinionated, chauvinistic, and doesn't share her interests. However, she is too scared to tell anyone this ... When she finally musters up the courage to tell Yasir she doesn't want to marry him - he doesn't take the news well! He goes and kills himself... leaving everyone in the family (her mother and her aunt) blaming Nadia! The first time she makes a decision about her life - her whole world falls apart!
After his brother's death, Humayun Saeed (who is living in the States) returns to Pakistan to support his parents through their troubled times. He also tries to meet with Nadia... to see what she said or did to make his brother kill himself! In meeting with Nadia, he realizes she isn't the evil witch everyone makes her out to be. While Nadia and Humayun are drawn to each other - what are they to do when they have such a big thing (the brother's death, the torn apart family) hanging over them???
This drama also only has 6-7 episodes - so it the pace is FAST - things happen quickly!
