The story is set among 3 warring tribes in rural Balochistan (in Pakistan). Born into this tribal warfare are Shah Taj (Atiqa Odo) and Balaj (Noman Ejaz). Despite being surrounded by violence all their lives, both are gentle souls with a love of music and poetry. While both are from opposing tribes - they ultimately fall in love! Fearing that their union could unite two tribes, the head of the third tries everything to STOP this from happening.

At this point the drama takes a very Romeo and Juliet turn!

After that the story jumps forward to several years to focus on Balaj and Shah Taj's son. He's an angry young man who is the heir to both tribes (both still warring).

I don't want to give too much away - so I won't say more.

The cinematography of this drama is great (which is rather rare in a Pakistani drama).

This drama is INTERMINABLY long! It has 26 episodes (unlike the usual 13 of a Pakistani dramas) - but really the story could have been told in only 13 episodes. So needless to say the whole thing is SLOW and DRAGGY!
