I had forwarded the below mail to Bhima on 27th Jan 2015
I am Sreejith S, Thottathil, Neriamangalam(around 70 KM from Your Showroom), I would like to express my feeling about the experience during yesterday's(26/1/2015) shopping at Bhima Cochin.
When our family is decided to purchase gold, mostly the same will be from either BHIMA Kochi or from BHIMA Thodupuzha. Last day we(Me. My wife, My Parents and My 1 1/2 old Kid) visited your Showroom at kochi and started shopping at 12:30pm.
It was an exchange purchase, so I had given our old gold to the showroom and the employee given us a statement showing the weight of the gold and the rough deductions due to the stone and dust. He said that there would be changes in deductions after removing the stone and dust.
After completing the shopping he took me to observe the removal of the stone and dust, then they showed us the weight after the removal of stone and dust that was(77.8 gram). The employee said me that they are reducing some weight for melting lose.
It was around 4'o clock and we all need to go back to our native place and my kid was crying. So I asked him the bill and I received Rs 4000 in cash.
Unfortunately When I Calculated the melting lose, I feel cheated! It is not only the matter of money. Please find the below calculations
Item Rate Weight* Melting Lose % of Deduction Lose in RS
Old Broad Bangl 2640 22.04 0.22 1% 580.8
Old Broad Bangl 2640 22.33 0.67 3% 1768.8
Old Bangles 2640 13.83 0.69 5% 1821.6
Old Bangles 2323 9.05 0.1 1% 232.3
Old Studs 2640 6.33 0.19 3% 501.6
Old Ring 2640 2.19 0.02 1% 52.8
Old Ring 1900 2.03 0.00 0.00 0 77.8 1.89 4957.9
- After Removal of Stone/DUST
From the above table it can be observed that, Bhima cochin is charging upto 5% in the head of melting charges.
I felt bad about the following issues also
The rate difference in gold in the name of purity(Charged upto Rs 1900)
Charged up to 20% in the name of VA% for the ornaments purchased

My Third mail on 4th Feb 2015
Dear G B Kiran,
First of all I would like to inform you that, I am not yet received any cal/information from your company as you promised in the previous mail.
As a management teacher I belief that it is the duty of the customer to give feedback and the company has to respond promptly. I am sending these mail not for making any bad image to the company, if that is the case I can put it in social media for a hot discussion.
Here you are asked to wait patiently!
I would like to ask if you are faced similar kind of situation with your supplier, would you able to wait for a month to get a prompt reply
I did not received any reply from them after this mail
