Hi Parents, I had horrible experience going through the interview process at New Horizon. We bought the application form for our Son for LKG and the first day we entered the school for the interview.
I was amused by the behaviour of the receptionist. She CANNOT smile, she will not even look into your face. Anyways , we thought why bother about how the receptionist and waited for our turn for the interview. Its written in big bold letters that mobile phones should be switched off, while I could see and hear the teachers walking up and down the corridor, talking loudly on their cell phones.
My husband even questioned this to the lady sitting at the reception for which she finally looked up and gave a cold response. A group of parents were asked to enter the school campus. The feeling was claustrophobic. There is absolutely no play ground and whatever piece of land that they have is surrounded by buildings on all sides and gives you a feeling that you are in some jail. My husband was as such not impressed and he just wanted to leave then and there..I somehow persuaded him to stay and let our son attend the interview, we sent our kid to the 'room' where they were being interviewed.
My son spent 5-10 mins in the room and returned. We were then asked to meet the Principal, another ruthless lady.She does not ALSO look at you. I was totally amused at this behaviour and decided then and there that we ARE not sending our Son to this school if we get through. She dint even greet us or our Son even after us and him saying good afternoon Ma'am.. My son got through the admission, but we have decided NOT to send him to this school. I am right now very proud of my son's behaviour and how he interacts with people when he meets them.I did not want him to get to see this group of people who do not even know how to behave. I would not recommend NHPS to anyone.
