Recently acquired the new ipod.. 30 gb with video. bigger screen, much, much sleeker, & u can store videos too! its a great buy. a small downer... battery keeps draining even when its not used (slow pace)... and it comes only with a comp connector - therefore gets charged only when connected to the comp. or one has to buy a regular charger separately. but that's the only downer.
the product itself is fantastic. sound quality is great, picture quality is great. I had no problems connecting it to my windows xp. working with itunes to create playlists etc is very easy. but be warned, you can't create playlists on the ipod itself, it has to be done on the comp.
if it gets hung... and I did encounter that problem with one of the USB ports on my laptop... there's nothing to tell u how to re-start it! I had to go to the apple website to find out how. they don't like admitting it can get hung I guess. :)
its a great buy if you love music... love gadgets and want to have a device that can store all your songs, your photos and your videos.
