This was my first review when I installed Airtel DTH and it was okay. My customtakeouter id is 3007098164, complaint #10782003 date 8/8/2011. I live in Chandigarh.

Now, I upgraded my channel pack to mega pack on 29/7/2011. They upgraded it but they are not showing at least two channels, Food Food and Movies now. When I spoke to customtakeouter car on 29/07/2011 they said to send message to 54325 that add channel "Food Food." They said in four or five days your complaint will be dealt with and I sent message immediately. I called them on 8/8/2011 and they said they will file another complaint and problem will be sorted in four to five days. I told them to give me local number of their office so I can call them and he gave me one number. I called them on 08/08/2011 and lodged my complaint and they said in four to five days it will be completed. Again, no response in four to five days.
I again called them after five days on 17th August and again they said they will do it today and engineer will call me and visit me today itself. Again, no one came. So again on August 19th I called them and told them and they said engineer will call between 5 and 6 pm and will come and correct the problem. Again at 5:15 pm I called them and reminded and again he said that engineer with call immediately and will come and again no one has come.
Now, there is no difference between cable tv and airtel. Cable TV also did same thing taking money and promising channels and removing channels at their will whenever they want and now Airtel is also doing same thing that is not showing full channels and I am not sure they will refund my money as well.
It is very sad that a corporate house like Airtel does not care about customtakeouters and repeated reminders. So, I will not advise you to buy Airtel DTH as it has got pathetic after sales service. You can contact me at gandharvashu@yahoo.com if you have any queries.
