My story

I must confess that I grow up where we swear by two names ,u guess it,Amithab Bachchan and Shahrukhan and I was not the exception.However, I have always seen different kind of Bollywood movies and I was able to appreciate any good work . Who can forget Mithun in Disco Dancer,the lovely and sweet "Dosti 195...",the master peace of Mehboob"Mother India" or the charismatic Dilip Kumar in "Aan",the enthousiastic Jaya in Shor.So, I used to hear the name of Aamir Khan but I can't really say that I stopped to watch closly his films and I admit that was my ultimate mistake.I remember that the first film that I saw of Aamir was Ishq,years ago, because a friend was always talking about how good that film was and she told me to buy her the tape;i got the film and I watched it at home.The film was funny but what really catch me is Aamir, I though he was good in emoting specially in the scenes with Kajol but I hated the end of the film because I wanted Aamir and Kajol toget together.Since then I had a dream to see Aamir and Kajol as a pair in a film,but also to watch all Aamir's movies !

His story

I thank GOD that I saw Qayamat Se Qayamat Taq on tv with a very high quality and a good translation.I was mesmerised by the young face of Aamir ,he was so cute and from the debut you can already feel the honesty of his perfomance and his natural act.And film after film ,you can watch the progress of Aamir Khan as a methodic and solid actor without loosing an iota of his charm and natural act.Aamir has always suprised me by the choice of his films and the details he put on the caracters,he played, to make it real to the core and to make us beleive it.The most amazing thing is that you forget about Aamir while watching an Aamir Khan's starrer,because you are totally traped by the caracter...that's why we still remember the name of every caracter he played.Keeping in mind that less is more,Aamir did one film at a time and gave it 100 per cent of his energy and we can't thank him enough for that;he gave us time to concentrate on every film and to appreciate his real talent!

Aamir the actor

Aamir is a GOD gifted actor,but he gifted GOD back by his hard work and his respect for his talent!Choosy about his films and miticulous about his roles ,Aamir prooved that bollywood can give us great actors as great stars.If Aamir was born in the Hollywood side ,i am sure he would be a legend with many oscars right now,but bollywood must be happy to count Aamir among its stars. .Aamir has truly made bollywood ,during all those years much more exciting to watch and to look for .But some strongly beleive that Aamir is an arogant actor who even doesn't attend award ceremonies! What asilly thought.This is just the kind of talk that convinces Aamir that he was right in his choice.Besides awards for Aamir,and award ceremonies ,i guess, don't mean the same thing .He wants to be awarded and appreciated for the real value of his work and not the boxoffice collections, the connections with the biggies of the industry or his dances;and that's why he is much more interrested in the feed back of the audiance than critics.And, today, all I can see is cinegeors are not fooled anymore by the star image,they will appreciate the good if it's good and Aamir is really good and you get to feel it from the response of people toward his films.To sum up ,Aamir is the best actor bollywood have today,overreacting gonna say some,no,it's simply the nacked truth that most don't want to face!

Aamir the citizen

Beeing a third world country citizen,i know how it is hard for any body to speak out his real mind without the constant fear from the concequences and that is even harder if you are a public figure. But Aamir Khan prooved me wrong,he went out and loud with his support for the rehabilitation of the victims of the Namrada dam...i can hear your surprise because I know the topic,since i'm not indian,but from the debut of this whole controvorsy ,i collected a lot of information about the subject......what I found funny in the situation is that the whole industry doesn't move an inch to support Aamir who has been under fire for months.....only Mahesh Bhatt ,who although had some problems with Aamir by the past ,has taken a real and clear step.....and that shows that in this world to be a man is hard and few get to be what they are.....but I ' m also angry about the politicians specialy in Gujarat,who chose violence unstead of trying to find out a real solution to the problem.....i would loved to see them going out and saying that Aamir Ahan is wrong and they are working in the issue....but they didnt because Aamir was right....."build the dam and rehabilit the people",that's all Aamir was standing for and i'm afraid he was standing alone......Its a real shame....

Aamir the man

Be eing very secretive about his private life ,i didnt know how i'm gonna speak about this part of Aamir 's life...But fortunatly I got to see the Fanaa conversation with Kajol....and I was totaly surprised ,but enchanted to hear Aamir speaking about his ex wife .....I get to know from the few words he said about her that he is a real gentelman....Speaking like that about your ex need a lot of courage and forgivness......not to mention that he loves his kids because every responsable father got to do that.....Besides,he is an opened man ready to change his views about people if he got to know them....and that's exactly what he did with Kajol....and they could finaly get together to make Fanaa ,a dream come true...
