Worst Service Ever from APC. Review on APC Home UPS 850VA Sine

If you are in India, don't buy APC products . I will give you two examples. Lately APC is not providing any support for their inverters(Home UPS) in India. They have some arrangements with Luminous( another Indian inverter manufacturer company) for providing support of APC inverters.

APC is doing MOCKERY in the name of support. I got the same model( BI850SINE) that stopped working suddenly . I called the support . instead of sending any support person to check or repair the machine, the company sent me a quotation of Rs.5361 for a REFURBISHED equipment with 3 months warranty in exchange of my faulty equipment, . Whereas the NEW EQUIPMENT(same model) is available at Rs. 111 less online with two years warranty i.e. at Rs. 5250.

Here is second cause: If your equipment stops working even under warranty period they will pick it up from your house without providing any backup and send it to Chennai( or somewhere) for repair. You may think yourself lucky if you get back your rectified equipment within 3 weeks. APC India has yet to learn the meaning of the phrase ON SITE SUPPORT. Strange enough, APC behave differently in America.
