It was our farewell day… life was so good to be in the mist of those lovely faces… it all happened in here… life… love… cast… creed… it all have got just one religion… a religion called, Music!!

2005 was a good year for me. I had lots of fun playing fun intended pranks meant for those lonely souls. While flipping through those strings, I left a note for the rest to sing. The note was just an admiration for all the musicians to play on… Nah, it’s not the music you think anyway. This is not just about 90’s Love Songs but, a weird set of notes meant for you to listen, play and have fun.

If you are ready to listen and play them, then here my turn comes to inaugurate this topic called as 90’s Love Songs.

Now, I cannot mention Pink Floyd in here. There is no Deep Purple or Iron Maiden in the list, so for those who anticipate them in the list will be highly disappointed. So, let me ask you something. What’s the purpose of visiting this review? Is it because, you want to dedicate this to someone who is so close to you? In that case, I shall start with my favorite love songs or rather, dedications on the list for you all to chant. Here we go…,

1.  ------- Guess?? (Can you guess the first song in the list?)

Well, it doesn’t matter. There is just one word for all of us to whisper and it’s ‘Everything I do, I do it for you’. The soft versatile voice pricks our soul for a moment and it asks if, we belong to those groups… Those groups…? Yes, the group who truly, deeply, madly fall in love.

Bryan Adams and his song have come straight away from his heart. Like a wanderer when you listen to him uttering those words in a mild voice, wouldn’t you spare a thought to fall in love? Won’t you sing it aloud with him?

Here he sings…

*“Look into your heart - you will find

There's nothin' there to hide

Take me as I am - take my life

I would give it all - I would sacrifice”*

But the soothing part is yet to come when he change his tone and completes the song and,

“Ya know it's true

Everything I do - I do it for you”*

Am I going to spit all the romantic songs in here?? No ways, and I’m doing this for the first time. Thank Lord for not mentioning rock in here or else would have got stuck with Pink Floyd and all of you would have cursed me for the same.

By the way, I see this quote in front of me. It’s like “My kinda hangout”….

It’s the pepsi bottle which is staring at me for a while since I started concentrating on this word pad. Anyway, it’s not the subject and how many of you have experienced true love? Alright, I see few pretty faces in here smiling at me and in a gentle tone when you utter, I see ‘heavens’.

The second in my list for all those people who have done a mistake in their relationships and want to correct them (of course they do regret and understand the value of the girl/guy they have lost).

This song haven’t given much priority anywhere in the sphere so here I’m giving preference to this song and if you think it’s not worth listening to, then kindly rate it NOT USEFUL. But, I bet this is one kind of a song you will never like to miss out from your collections…

2. And it goes like this…

*"How did I ever let you slip away

Never knowing I'd be singing this song some day

And now I'm sinking, sinking to rise no more

Ever since you closed the door

If I could turn, turn back the hands of time

Then my darlin' you'd still be mine

If I could turn, turn back the hands of time

Then darlin' you, you'd still be mine…"*

If you ever missed out this song, then I plead you to listen… because… I believe there is only one religion in this world… And that religion doesn’t belong to any category… and the religion is **‘Music’…

R. Kelly’s piece was in deed a masterpiece and this song took almost 15 hours to complete. Type out the song and watch it… I don’t need thanks… I don’t need any praise… I don’t need anything, if it’s useful to you…

3. Here comes another group of people…

They want to let their love know that how much worth they were close to them. They did their best to prove. But, their love couldn’t get them right. Alas, it’s time for them to convey the message and through Chris Martin’s voice when they sing,

*"When you try your best but you don’t succeed…

When you get you want but not what you need…

When you feel so tired but you can’t sleep…

Stuck in reverse…"*

Well, this belongs to the rock category but when you love someone and when it goes for vain, couldn’t it be so worse? Of course, the lights will guide you home and it’ll ignite you… but… listen… fall in love with yourself… because… you are worth more than all of them… I said… you are a GEM!!

Let the lights guide us home… And ignite our bones… And let’s try… Try… Try…

4. The last one in the group has been singing about their nostalgic moments.

Well, if I include a Hindi Song in this category, do not blame me. I’m enjoying writing this review since I get to hear many songs other than Pink Floyd from my playlist. Well, it’s a great feeling to write about the songs that I haven’t heard for a long time.

So, I’m going to mention ‘Nahi samne tu’ from TAAL… Of course, this was one of the hits in the nineties. I believe most of the good songs have evolved from the nineties. I love the songs in Saajan… And of course Pardes… I wanted to write more of them but then the space limit is not letting me to include them.

Alright, the idea was to listen to the songs, however let me suggest you few songs that would boost you up.

They are:

1. Because you loved me by Celine Dion

2. Can you feel the love tonight by Elton John

3. Ain't no sunshine by Bill withers

4. I don’t want to miss a thing by Aerosmith

5. I knew I loved you by Savage Garden

6. Baby, I love your way by Big Mountain

7. Back at one by Brian McKnight

8. By Heart byJim Brickman

9. From This Moment On by Shania Twain

10. You are beautifulby James Blunt

The songs mentioned above are for your reference and hope you find them very useful… Dedicate to your loved one’s… let them know that they are special to you… And I’m off to sleep… Let the songs play in the background…

*Love… Love… Love…
