The night was dark. Thunderstorm and lightning challenge one another outside the building. I sit in the big hall lit only by a magical lamp between me and the Vampire, Bharati. Here, I am offered a confession from this great vampire and I have to judge her acts. I focus my attention on this poisonous beauty trying hard not to get affected by it. My eyes search for blood in her eyes but I found tears.

I made the first move. 'Come on Bharati....tell me, why you chose the name Susanne Anne Marie Johannes where you had a beautiful name as Bharati?'

Bharati gave a poisenous look. Then her eyes filled with motherly love. I could feel it.

"I am your motherland my son...what is in a name? Mother is only one name and I am that. If I am Susanne for one, Anne is for another, Sultana for yet another and Sunaina for some one else. Love of mother never changes and so are the duties.'

'You say mother and all the murders were from a lover.'

'Lover is a bud and mother is a flower'

'I have to think about this philosophy Bharati later, but tell me, why you killed the beautiful and dashing Edwin Rodrigues? Neil Nitin Mukesh, played the role superbly!! I know he has lost a leg in a war as well.'

A huge thunderstorm hit outside. The flame of the lamp shook in shiver.

'Did you remember operation Blue Star? For which he got his Keerthichakra? Then, did you realise the cruelty which he carried from the war land to the house? Didn't you see the jealousy he carried and horror in which we had to live? By Killing Edwin I saved my children from such further cruelty. Tell me, how you can punish a mother in me for that?'

For the corruption and irresponsibility with which Indian people behave, an Emergency is long due. We do not take courage and challenge one who loot our farm but hide at home like a fearful boy who was told that there is ghost outside and beating is not good. Your act of killing too is not justified. Then, I really felt pity for you for what you suffered. Where shall I send the ghost of Edwin then?

Ha ha ha...I am pleased...send his ghost to the Ganges and let him get a rebirth when the street is ready for him.

Bharati drink a plateful of blood in happiness.

Now you will ask me why I killed the music genius and pop singer husband Jimmy, that rascal whom I loved for my love of art, music and literature.

I liked John Abrahamwho suites the role perfectly. Yes, do tell me, what was your need for killing that young, successful and energetic artist?

Hmm...artist! I love art for its creativity and genius. I married him believing that he is original. Like you audience, we see a film which we have not seen earlier and appreciate it's creators only to find out later that it was inspired, hear copied from others. I was ready to forget the sin. Then, respect - why don't give some respect to me, his wife? To the mother land? I gave him a chance and helped him to recover then some habits are not to die. Don't you see that the habit, if spreaded was bound to kill many youngsters? I killed him to protect the respect.

I can see your point of view now. Yes, you were right. Let me send Jimmy's ghost to the night clubs of hell where let his soul get suffocated and buried in the smoke of hashish. Oh no, don't think that if you go to hell you can smell hashish....lol!! Now tell me about your honey moon with Wasiulla Khan, whose beautiful poetry mesmeraised the masses. Irfaan Khan is superb as usual. Tell me which shayari he sang for you/

Hmm....veiled is not always beautiful. The veil of beauty of poetry or good words can not justify the ugliness within. Don't you see the sadism and massochism which he practiced? Don't he resembled the terrorism in the name of religion? And don't you notice the colour of the Bushy cat wander in search of its protector in the snow?

Ha ha ha...your third murder is very good and if you haven't done that, I would have! The Ghost of Wasilulla Khan will get a free visa and ticket to a north western country. A coffin will be the free with the ticket. And as a bonus for this episode, I relieve you from the burden of your 4th murder that is of the Russian Spy. I enjoyed the song 'Daaarling.....' oooh...it so droooling...And I liked the RAW - RAW - RAW humming as well. Good one. Anyway, tell me why you killed the Keemat Lal who was well enacted by Anu Kapoor?

Eh! He and his invstigations on belly flesh. Don't you see that it was blackmail and I was not to climb his Niagra heights? I killed him in self defense and by doing that I reduced one number from the corrupt Police and Investigation agencies of the country. And don't you see how vulgar and crude was his sexual behaviour to keep away all children even from the neighbouring cinemas?

Ok ok...relax. His ghost is going to be bottled and kept in central prison for zillions of years. Now tell me why you were reading Anna Karenina even after killing your Russian love?

Don't ask questions. Ok? Some memories are good. I am losing out my patience and you send the Ghost of Modhusudhon Tarafdar to Himalayan Ashrams for recovery for his soul but I like the Mushrooms from that guy. I am sure you would have liked Nasseruddin Shah's acting thought the episode look forced. Now, don't ask me who is the seventh victim!

Why you killed the poor director who did a decent film like this? Vishal Bharadwaj?

Ha ha ha...thanks for your kind words. How was my acting?

Priyanka, you acted too cool. You simply rocked it. It is the best of your career and best of the season. Way to go girl! In fact I liked the movie thoroughly. It is a technically well made film with excellent cinematography, good editing in most part, very good art designs, breath taking sound affects and good direction. The story too is very good with good suspense. The writers didn't took too much risk in hiding the clues where they gave direct clues of targets, still there had enough space for good amount of symbolism. Length of the movie could have been trimmed by 10 minutes, that too in the second half. Casting is perfect and the performance by all are superb, including Usha Uthup, the singer. Art film lovers will love it where aam junta too have something interesting to sit through. Then, tell me why you killed Vishal Bharadwaj after all this?

After six murders or say sex murders - see, I am already a Vampire and it is normal for Vampires to drink blooooood. I killed him for asking me to strip twice in the film, for diverting and diluting the subject in the final episode for commercial purposes. See this is black comedy and we Vampires love bloooood and when we kill somebody, it only means that we love them or we are hungry. Directors, they can do anything including black comedy. We love Black.

But wait, there are rumours that the director killed you in the climax instead of being a victim by himself. Is it true?

It is all gossip. If I am here that is a proof that he is dead. If I believe that is a proof that he is wrong. The light of love doesn't need proof to exist, because I am...

You mean you are a Vampire and not Priyanka who was talking to me?

You told so....

I am not afraid of Vampires. So who remains?

You and me, my daarling........ the rain is stopped and the lighning too. marry me, I command you...

I recomme(A)nd you. Good that you didn't have children with you!
