Guys, ill keep my review simple n straight.
If you've watched 300 (the first movie), then pls dont expect the same level of quality, intensity and feel.
This so called sequel actually sometimes prequel, only highlights the visual department n falls short in dialogue, direction, casting n most imp of all FEEL and background score.
PROS:
Eva Green screen time.
Some fight scenes.
Flashback of Xerxes.
CONS:
Thermistocles casting, nothing against this guy, but seriously lacks charisma. Gerard Butler is heavily missed here.
Main notable characters, Qeen Gorgo & Xerxes only getting screen time of 10 minutes.
All fight scenes taking place @ sea, because of this all the shots are done @ night and we cant view it properly or make head or tail of it leaving us confused.
3D not utilized properly, if ur watching in 3D watch only in IMAX nothing else.
Linear predictable story moving at slow boring pace.
U can safely wait for the DVD-release which will come up in a few months. Seriously waiting for How to train your Dragon & Godzilla.
