*"2 states the story of my marriage" by chetan bhagat is a hilarious, compelling, Must read book.
I would rate it on par with "Five Point some one" his first best seller.

In this complicated mesh replete with regional,
cultural, culinary differences & mind blocks the
boy and girl continue to love.
The Autobiographical book is set in IIM Ahmedabad, where Ananya is the
most sought after bright, smart, intelligent TamBrahm girl.All the male
eye balls on the campus lust for her&hungrily follow her.Krish and Ananya
get to like each other thru joint study sessions where Krish gets to teach
her math problems;They fall in love, get physical and emotional
& intensely feel for each other.
They ultimately get placed in MNC jobs in Chennai.They strategize and
makes intricate plans for Krish to manoever and get closer to his
prospective brother in law, father in law and ultimately mother in law.
He also manoevers his boss and bada boss to achieve his goals.

what's funny is the elaborate and hilarious process of bride & groom
hunting by parents of both.You get to see the hunger for money, status, luxuries & ultimately horoscope matching which complicate and confuse marriage plans.
Chetan beautifully and hilariously weaves in the Abusive autowallahs, the nerd like Tambrahm muggos, the fascination for "The Hindu", curd rice, carnatic music & the Punjabis so particular on their status, paneer, booze and boisterous weddings. Chetan has a keen eye for the college going youth and aptly describes whatever appeals to them.
It's one big funny, hilarious, witty, compelling chewing gum of a novel.
It really open up the inticacies involved in cross regional & cultural love marriages.
It's a good guide for guys having a cross country crush.
'Two States"is a kind of'Ek Duje ke liye" story with a Happy Ending and told in a lively
and humorous format.
