This is 4th Book by Chetan Bhagat and all 4 have different class and category.The best thing is Chetan Bhagat's creation directly appeal to common people and creates one virtual bridge between common people's life and the novel charaters.
Last time I read his creation 'Three Mistakes of My Life' and I was bit disappointed with his work. I didn't like that book,so this time I was expecting something nice and interesting thing.
'Two States: the story of my marriage' is typical bollywood masala movie type book.This book is a kind of exploration on certain facts like IIT and IIM's Life,MNC,Religion differences and Cast factor.
It comprises all kind of ingredients Like Love,Friendship,Family, Emotions,Betrayl,Exploitation,Desire,Parties,Affection,
Lavish Wedding Party,Spiritual and a lot more.Whatever you want or expect everything this book contains.
Synopsis :
A Punjabi Boy Loves One Brahmin Tamil Girl but there families are not in favour of their marriage.Both Boy and Girl wants to convince their family for their marriage.
Very simple story and most of us are very much aware about this kind of story and their end.
So to narrate this simple concept,Writter has used two character and they are Ananya & Krish.
Both Ananya and Krish met with each other in IIM and fall in love.Both of them decided to get married but before that they wanted to both the families should like and accept each other.
It is not only the love story book but it also Portrait the mindset of our society,standard,ThoughtProcess and Culture of Indian Society.
Things Which I liked :
1) Simple and Easy Language.No need to refer a Dictionary everytime.
2) Story is divided into Parts with some Interesting Situations.
3) Perfect Flow between the Situations.
4) Perfect reflection of Relationship between the family members and the value of family values.
5)Culture Diversity is one of the key element of this book.From Kannad Classical Songs to Punjabi Bhangra Dance,Chole Bature to Dossa,Yellow Dal to Rice -Curd,Delhi to Chennai..everything is there.
At the price of Rs. 95,you will get fully entertainment.
Things Which I didn't Like :
1)Climax part is bit long.Despite having expected end,climax was little bit long.
Good Book having all kind of stuff with proper exmaple and scenarios.Easy to understand and very less price.
