I was looking for a job then for more than 2 months. It had tasted hard my patience. Job consultancy firms make success targeting those helpless guys.
On 13.09.2018(Thursday) Ms. Ameli, 1 Step Solutions, Kolkata called me for a job opportunity as HR Recruiter, salary 15K. Weekends Off.
Next day(Friday), I gave the interview(for show probably), They demanded 7.5 K cash refundable in one year, 7.5K cheque refundable in 6 months as security so that I don’t leave the job in between.
Which must be deposited within Saturday otherwise, my selection would be disqualified. Training would begin from Monday, It’s an urgent requirement, posting at Saltlake. (They pressurize you in such a way; you don’t have time to think much).
I was exhausted; my marriage was oncoming March, so I surrendered for this job. I withdrew money from ATM, joined the same day. Offer letter provided 2 copies, one’s for me, others for company. For the money deposit, there was one copy for the company. I clicked the photos of that agreement.
Training would be for 45 days. Once or twice in a week, we had to come for one hour, it would cover the whole week, completing 45 days.
Now, the story begins;
1.Where I had been told training will begin from 17th September during an interview, in the offer letter, It was written to join on 24th September.
2.On 24th September, I came. They told. vacancies were not fulfilled yet, training would begin after one week.
3.After 10 days, I received an SMS for the training schedule and later once in a week regular basis, Mr. Anindya Head HR came with a diary or laptop, gave dictations; we were 6 people in the class, writing down notes on our exercise books. What a training! Rather than, printed notes might be provided and the next day, the qualifying mock test was good enough. They were just killing times. After 45days, I would get 3K as a stipend. So, what company was doing, the staff was watching youtube in the office. I should not bother.
4.The office was closed during Durga Puja. I was waiting to pass 45 days anyway to get my posting. I didn’t receive any SMS for training. Kali Puja, Diwali also passed.
5.It was last of November, I called Iman one of the training students, he told me that training sessions were going on the right way.
6.I came to the office, Mr. Anindya told that they were looking for MBA passed candidates, not perusing MBA. He asked me to resign. Everything was mentioned in my resume. How irresponsible company, they didn’t have a serious approach before hiring anyone. They did not even inform me anything until I had come to enquire from my side. For their agreement, I had lost a job at Eden Realty where I had given an interview a few months ago.
7.My semester exams were in December. In January, I called Mr. Anindya to arrange my refund. He told that it would take 2-3 months to process as per company policy.
8.I drop a mail to anurag@1stepsolution.co.in and hrd@1stepsolution.co.in. Mr. Pramit from Accounts and Legal from Delhi, called me after some time. He told that he would arrange the refund in 2-3 days including a stipend for attending training out of 45 days. I had my offer letter on 14th September, now in how many days 45days would complete, required a new explanation according to their time framework! Otherwise, Mr. Pramit would arrange an immediate joining elsewhere. Whatever, due to my marriage, I had been officially granted leave till 31st March on my prayer.
9.Since April, I have been waiting for joining. I keep calling Mr. Pramit. He always asked me to call after a few days. I dropped many emails in between. They never reply in an email but over the phone, given false hope for joining. Director’s family met some accident in Delhi. Therefore, I have to wait for 1 month. Six month passes this way.
10.Finally, Mr Pramit sent me to One4all Info Solves(photo enclosed of that office building), another job consultancy firm at Park Street to join on 5th September 2019. Ms. Akhansha there told the same. Training would be once in a week etc, accepted my joining and told, I would receive a confirmation mail by that night. 15 days passed, there is no email.
11.On 6th September, I went there for training. Mr. Inamul taught how to find resumes and talk to candidates. He told that I would be informed when to come again.
12.Two weeks passed, I receive no communication from 1 step solution or one4allinfo solves.
Last one year, I have lost one job opportunity, two internship opportunities at Indian Oil, Coal India arranged by my institute, my cash deposit of 7.5K. Though I will stop the payment of cheque of 7.5K, seating at home with no salary for their agreement. I may demand for compensation for their harassment. Ignoring that when I asked for a stipend for attending my training, Mr. Pramit told that the company had not earned anything from you, how should we pay you? Well, someone calls a Doctor, mechanic at home, one must pay his visit if there is some issue or not. The company had hired me if there is no job, it is their problem. I have kept myself reserved for them last on year, should be paid salary on time or they should fire me previously so that I can find jobs anywhere. Myself and my family had suffered a lot emotionally last one year.
This company is not trustworthy, most irresponsible, unprofessional and unethical like other job consultancy firms. Reviews are manipulated in Google. If 3 people get a job, 7 people must be exploited somehow.
I met a person who worked in another job consultancy firm, left the job after not receiving 2 months' salary.
I met another who had been offered a job to collect donations for an NGO and his remuneration will be a percentage of the total collection. This is at present the job market for qualified unemployed.
Never pay even one rupee to get a job. There might be a scam.
