Holiday Inn, anytown USA.(Or just about anywhere in the world for that matter. From Australia to the UK, and everywhere in between.
If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, reasonably priced hotel anywhere in the US, Holiday Inn is your best bet.
Every Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at is just about the same! The room size, the furnishings, the colors and the prices. They make it that way, so you will feel you are in familiar surroundings, no matter where you are.
Started back in August, 1952, Holiday Inn became ''The Family Hotel and Motor Lodge.'' In most Holiday Inns here in the US, children stay in their parents room for free and eat for free as well.
Each and every Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at offered a clean pool, snack bar and/or full restaurant.
Holiday Inn claims to be like a home away from home for road travellers.
All the rooms, as I stated before, are set up just about the same. 2 double beds, a television (with cable) a telephone, desk and chairs, a dresser or two and a closet. The bathrooms are always clean and have clean towels, fresh soap and most come with bathtubs as well as showers. Some even have built in electric hair dryers to use when you bathe or go swimming. Ice is always available for in room use and soda and snack machines are always around.
If you travel with children, the staff is eager to please and will set up roll away beds or cots or cribs at no extra charge.
Off every single major highway, in just about every city and town across America you can see the familiar green lettering on the big signs welcoming you to Holiday Inn.
The prices on average are about $69.00 to $99.00 (US) per night, double occupancy, depending on how popular the area is where you choose to stay. Some Holiday Inns even allow pets to stay for a small charge.
I've never been disappointed in any Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at. Always clean, always a friendly staff, and always priced within my budget.
Reservations are suggested, but not required.
Some Holiday Inns even have banquet facilities for holding business meeting or having large parties!
