The Second Treasury of Khalil Gibran is an exceptional story of the life of an extraordinary man. Told through personal essay, poetry, and private letters, the depth of this mans character is in full view. Discovery of life seen through death is an awakening look at nature and the great works of a higher power. To feel the way love is presented in it's purest stage, is mesmerizing. It just proves that real love is eternal. A journey through the life of Khalil and his many travels throughout the Middle East and Europe, as well as an overview of the various talents he possessed, is by far the best biography I've read in quite sometime. The words are poetic and carry a certain peacefulness. Khalil was a man of great stature. I recommend this book to any and everyone that believes in the beauty of nature and cherishes the great gift of life.
