I flew from Japan to Taiwan in September 2024, and let me tell you—it was a disaster. Easily one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had flying. First, I had an issue with my carry-on luggage. I've traveled to Japan with EVA Air and across Europe with various airlines without any problems, but Tiger Airways? They insisted my carry-on was too big, which was complete nonsense. Then, they had the nerve to charge me a ridiculous fee of $47.50 for it!
To top it off, I just wanted to say a simple goodbye to my friend at the gate, but instead, I had to deal with this unnecessary nonsense. Their lack of customer service and absurd policies ruined what should have been a smooth trip. Trust me—avoid Tiger Airways at all costs. Do not travel with them if you value your sanity!

I traveled in this Tiger air from Singapore to Chennai, I faced a bad experience in this airline every one knows that Tiger air is a budget airline, but compare to other budget airline the seating is too narrow and tiny, when I traveled in this Tiger air that is my first trip from Singapore to Chennai, in this airline every thing is money we even cant carry water bottle we must buy from them, they wont do proper maintenance inside the flight we can see small cockroaches below the seats, when I arrive to Chennai my both foot become swelled and I am unable to walk, because of their seating. I traveled in so may Budget airline but I never ever seen this kind of seating, from that day on wards until now I never book this flight. Even I canceled my Return Ticket from Chennai to Singapore.
It is not very good flight .it does not have comfortable.it does not have pleasent airhostress.they annot take cares of anyone who travel in flight either he or she was anyone.it has low quality of food facility.its seats are not comfortable .it has not all safety measures for incident.it is not too good.

Hey, I traveled to Singapore, I don't understand how would they not provide even a bottle of water. And the seating space is less as well. No entertainment facilities. Better improve these facilities, at least a complimentary water bottle, every-time we cannot call the cabin crew for a glass of water. Better improve the seats, the leg space is too less for a flight.
Positives: The only positive is schedules are on time. The cabin crew are good.
We have booked a flight to China from India and as we all know that you have to buy all your Hotels, Airflights before you travel to China and then only apply for a visa, we sent on our applications and the Chinese Embassey had rejected my friends application saying we can not confirm purpose of visiting China? we stated that we would go o to Beijing & Foshan, Finally to Singapore and back to India,
most companies took a fare share of our monies but still had time to resell the flights, but we were offered nothing from Tigerair, we even purchased extra luggage, non refundable, even if the visa is rejected .
TigerAir have enough time to resell the tickets to another flyer and they know that, but they are a greedy airline and not recommend to fly with .
2/10 for service
1/10 for customer care
10/10 for looking after their own pockets(tigerair)
This is the only company who refuses to refund anything or help you in anyway, the air line is no way of 5 star airline, as they need to understand that their customers are number one and without them they would not exist!
Good check out counter also check in counter good punctuality flight attender also behave like a good time for a few days seating area and the other side of the day and night with good people and their kids are in the morning to all of them were the one that I am not exactly a year and a few weeks back to you too kind to me about the other
I travelled to Singapore in Tiger air where the two way journey was very well affordable even though the ticket was booked a week before departure.
Nice seating and cooperative cabin crew. the approx journey time was 2 hours 30 mins and it was relaxing journey all the way through.
The seating space is comfortable and planned.
The flight service is prompt without any delay.
Very good and reasonable travel experience, looking forward for another journey in Tiger airways.
Cancelled flight and did not tell passengers until check in and left them stranded without a second thought. Their ground staff lied to us telling us we would get refund within four to six days, when not received contacted Tigerair and was told it would be four to six weeks, they took our money in seconds but can't refund for weeks? The most worrying part was the plane was cancelled due to a hydraulic leak, clearly the planes are not maintained failing in service and as such unsafe. This airline is incompetent don't put your life in their hands.
Tigerair has really good and friendly staff if you ask you something on counter they will response quickly and help you.So staff at check-in counter is simply nice.This flight also known for his low cost with good service and it's service continuously grow with time.One little problem with that their cabin food is little costly.Punctuality of the flight is very good and seating space of that flight comfortable so I think it is better to go when you want to travel Singapore to anywhere or from anywhere to Singapore.
From last one year I am in Singapore and frequently I travel to Hyderbad.
Only airlines which comes to my mind is Tiger.
It provides best economical rates compared to all others.
Best part is non stop and 4.5 hours like Singapore or Silkair.
Every Thursday Tiger comes up with some offers which we can subscripe for alerts and get the best deals.
On 23 Sep it is celebrating 12 years and offering 12 cents price for so many destinations.
Do watch that space.

I was travelling with tigher air at 2014 from jakarta to singapore and then singapore to chennai. and its was very very good expirence for me.tiger air have many friendly option when online booking.
they have one very very usefull serive and tht service name is tiger connect.
when u buy this serives with very cheep rate like 500rs .
and this service you not need visa reuied for trasit country and ur laugage trasfer automaticly for next flight

Hi last year I am travel from melbourne to canverra with tigerair ways. so I go to the tigerair counter for check in and she ask me 30 doller extra check in fee I am bit angry but no option then I give har my credit card an she said I can't take your card I need just cash then I find the atm.
I am very upset when atm charge me another 2 doller fee. that day I am very upset
We travelled via tiger airways from singapore to bangalore and checked 2 bags
And when we landed in bangalore realized 1 bag is missing and we filled lost compliant and now close to 24 hrs no response from tiger airlines. they are worst service. This is first time of baggage missing for direct flights and that they don't know where it is.
There are far better and efficient indian cariers like indigo when I went from chennai everything is better and I don't think tiger airway is cheap if you consider you pay for luggage and they seem to have a right to delay or loss.
I am sharing my experience in tiger airlines, I went for Bali via Singapore from tiger airlines, I checked in hyderabad and they told me that my luggage will be directly sent to bali from hyderbad, we had a 65 hours break in singapore so we dint care for our luggage we went for a 6 hour trip in Singapore, so we catched tiger airlines and went to bali, we have waited for 1 hour for luggage so we complained in the airport . They Told us that they will give our luggage in next flight arrives from Singapore.We are having all our clothes and money in our trolley.
We called them next day morning they told us that they dint find the bag still, If they nfind the bag they will send 2 Days has finished, 2 day Night they have send the trolley and they told us that they will pay some money due to delay, So we asked them to pay money they told us that if we have insurance only will pay the money.This is bad experience we had in tiger airlines.
Agree with others on here: Tiger airways is truly the worst airline in the world and wouldn't understand the word service even if you spelled it slowly for them.
Rude, insensitive staff, the worst terms and conditions in the industry and staff that promise to call you back but never do.
I honestly would consider this airline nothing more than a scam.
Fly Tiger and think they are ok? Trust me, you are playing russian roulette - it is only a matter of time until they screw you and you join the chorus of customers that will never go back.
Save your time and sanity and fly an airline that respects its customers. Tiger does not.
We had traveled from Singapore to India with our kid aged 2.5years. The airline staff follow the rules so blindly and insensitively.
As the kid above 2 years gets allotted a separate seat, they also insist the kid to sit alone wearing seat belt.
They did not have extension seat belt and they were insisting the kid to sit who was crying and reluctant to sit alone in the seat. When we explained it air hostess she is warning us that the pilot will not agree so we need to get down the flight. Even while landing the we three in the family were sitting one side and one person was asked to shift to the other side as only 3 are allowed and as kid was on top of the parent it was 4. It was ridiculous
I was in transit in Singapore after 2 hours waiting I flew to Bangkok and no Baggage in Bangkok.After claim my baggage at the BFSLL Tigerairoffice in Bangkok.
I was calling to the office everyday asking for my baggage and they told me that Tigerair in Singapore did not answer, I try by myself to call and send fax and no result they did answer, so I still don;t know where is my baggage, Never flight again with this junk air company
This is utterly pathetic of this guy not letting me board the flight because of security guard mistake of not stamping my luggage.
upon asking his employee ID he says do what you can. instead of helping me guide he is trying to teach me some pathetic rules.
I mean what kind of service is this, I spend thousand to fly and because of some mistake from airport staff I am not allowed to board the flight.
I recorded his conversation and approached the police at the airport and got another surprise from this police who after listing to the entire episode says he is not concern.
I had a horrid experience with Tigerair Singpore. I saw with my own 2 eyes how on duty staff on 22nd Jan 2015 morning not only scolded 8 passengers to went to feedback at the Singapore airport Tigerair counter, they shouted rudely at the customers without even listening and insisted it was their FAULT and ground staff were Never responsible. Terrible
Apparently there was a few passengers held up at the boarding gate that day, despite the airport implicitly communication to the tigerair ground staff to wait up. This was not communicated to the pilot. The pilot flew off way before departure time.( 10 minutes)
The Tigerair ground staff had collected and processed the tickets of the passengers despite that they did not communicate to the plane and it flew off.
The passengers complained to the Tigerair counter that morning and they were told rudely and loudly that it was their own fault! the ground staff were not even listening just trying hard to absolve themselves of all responsibllities. In fact they were bullying the young customers!
Shocking!
Avoid this airline. Most unprofessional.
We travelled from Singapore to HYD in flight TR2624 dated Oct 5th 2014 and was completely surprised to experience the untidyness of the flight. I hear from people that it is cheap but it wasn't. I had to cough up INR 15, 000 per ticket for an allocated seat and meal.
Cheap does not mean to leave the flight untidy, right? Food was yuck. very shabby flight.
I would never ever fly this airline again
