Broken Luggage

Extremely disappointed with @Indigo.6e!


On my recent flight from Shirdi to Chandigarh via Delhi ( 6E2273 & 6E2194 on 12.1.25) , I handed over my luggage in perfect condition. However, on arrival at Chandigarh, the handle was completely broken.


To make it worse, the ground staff rudely refused to accept responsibility, claiming I had given a broken bag. When I insisted it was intact, they said, “There are many bags loaded together, and belt size is limited. This can happen.”


Really, @Indigo.6e? Should passengers start taking pictures of their luggage during check-in now? This kind of attitude and service is disappointing from a reputed airline.

Pathetic customer service and support. I was out with my family and friends for a small vacation. They lost our baggage. A day later received a call that baggage is received and we are sending it to your place. We waited for 10 hrs and nothing got delivered pushing me to buy new clothes for my son. And the response I received was we can’t do anything and they switched off the phone too.

Insect in the Meal: Worst Airline

I am writing this review with deep dissatisfaction regarding multiple interactions with your support team, which failed to resolve my issue despite consuming significant time.


To summarize: On October 14, 2024, I traveled from Ahmedabad to Hyderabad to Bangalore on a connecting flight. During the journey, I found an insect in the juice served to me, and I’ve attached a photo for your reference.


As someone who leads a large customer service team in my organization, I understand that such incidents are unintentional and can occur. Keeping this in mind, I refrained from creating a scene or damaging your reputation among other passengers. Instead, I immediately sent an image of the juice via DM on X(Twitter) upon landing. Your team responded promptly, apologizing for the incident, and your ground staff member, Mr. Prasanjeet(+91 82771 1xxxx), met me at Hyderabad airport. I shared all the images and videos with him over WhatsApp, and he assured me of future support if needed.


Considering the situation, I believed a small goodwill gesture was warranted to acknowledge my calm and understanding approach to this issue. However, when I needed support from your team, I was met with unnecessary delays and denials.


This experience raises serious concerns about your commitment to customer service. If a loyal customer cannot have a minor request accommodated, it reflects poorly on your service standards.

It's a very chindi airline. Right from the aircraft, seat comfort and the exorbitant price of food makes the entire experience very frustrating. Mainly because they claim to be a low-cost airline but the ticket prices are equivalent to any other airline. And if they are not low-cost, then the services are eve more pathetic.


Payment deducted but no flights confirmed

I am quite shocked to receive an invoice forR12 430, airtickets that I never requested for.


On the 22nd of November, R2858.90 was deducted excluding the transaction fee from my bank account for 5 tickets from Mumbai to Goa, ref. 17335222515.I have not received any confirmation for these flights.


A day later I received an invoice for R12 000 for the same 5 tickets.


I have emailed IndiGo and whatsapped but no response.No refund either.


This is the worst airline booking process that I have experienced.

We had a connecting flight from kochi to Mumbai via bangalore..Kochi to bangalore flight delayed for 3 hours and indigo team didn't even bother to inform and they kept on sending us Gate to gate...I m 80 years senior citizen along with my wife had to face lot of problem.Very irresponsible and horrible experience.

I was traveling on Indigo Chennai New Delhi flight on 7.11.24 6E 2761. While boarding itself they have changed passenger seats against will of passengers. I have been allotted 34 F and crew asked to sit at 34A. While serving meals upma they never served as Suresh was not available at seat 34 F. I called the staff to show my ticket with upma meals but with arrogant attitude never came near my seat. Twice I called but they never were in a mood to come near me. Then they found after serving beverages to everyone that one upma has not been served. With arrogant attitude as if throwing on my face attitude they gave the upma. I didn't accept as I am a Gandhian to protest. I told I give this meals money as alms to Indigo. If you don't have any other option fly by Indigo without booking meals. Myself Dr S SURESH SCIENTIST CVRDE DRDO and also during Commonwealth games I was office incharge for Chemical Warfare Emergency for seventeen stadium. If I am treated by Indigo crew like this think about common man

Indigo is worst airlines....they really don't care for people's money's....they don't have the courtesy to even call on people before take off....even VRL bus people call before leaving ....but indigo people really don't care....they don't have value for people's money and hardwork...they want to fill their pockets that's it....we lost 80k because of them...I know it really doesn't make difference to them...but it's pathetic...the flight time was 11.20 on ticket but at 11.15 the flight had already taken off really no words to express about their worst service...it's really pathetic..

Indigo is, without a doubt, the worst airline I’ve ever dealt with. My recent experience was beyond disappointing. My flight was delayed by 3 hours without any notice, causing huge inconvenience and extra transportation costs.


To top it off, my baggage was severely damaged during transit, and thanks to the delay, I couldn’t even report it at the airport. When I tried to resolve it online the next day, Indigo washed their hands of the issue, hiding behind their policy that requires issues to be reported at the airport.


It’s crystal clear that Indigo doesn’t care about its customers—only about making money. This level of service is appalling.

The airline is all about money and no customer service or passenger flexibility. Booked a flight from MLE to KOCHI but didn’t allow to check in even after online checkin was done and no luggage’s. 5 minutes was late arrive due to long queue at the entrance. To gate it takes 10 mints and had plenty of time. No flexible to passengers and only want more money to change flight.

I booked a flight with Indigo 6E2447 PNR H37HQD for myself, my 2.5 year daughter and my mom. Before web check in itself they automatically alloted separate seats for all three of us. After requesting at check in counter to change the seats they told us to adjust with fellow passengers. The fellow passengers were not at all ready to adjust with us. Because of airlines fault my daughter was continuously crying as she wanted to sit with both of us. We requested air hostess Ms Soni to adjust seats so she alloted us 2 seats together and later after few minutes she came shouting rudely in front of all passengers to change our seats. She doesn't have any etiquettes to talk with passengers. This is our worst ever experience with indigo. You people really need to improve your customer service and train your staff to be polite with your passengers.

I happened to book a mid-night flight with layover at Bengaluru. At Mumbai they assured connection, with good amount of layover, and looking at the departures and arrivals of concerned flights. By the time first lap flight from Mumbai to Bengaluru reached 2.5 hours late, connecting flight at Bengaluru departed. Customer service at Bengaluru was horrible, without any concern for passengers. Finally with continuous pleading, they adjusted through another itenarary, via Chennai. All my schedules got disrupted with the delays and careless attitude of Indigo.

Today I was travelling from abroad with indigo airlines to Pune having connections from Bangalore. This is first time with indigo international.


I am frequent flyer I am flying more. Due looking good connection and let’s try hopefully it will good airline with international travel but here also discount and in domestic airport i have 8 hours layover they not provided entry to me more than 5 hours I was seats down side in airport. I many times requested for give entry so I can get access of lounge or any other thing may be decent washroom but entry not given I was seat in down side of airport I call airline, ticket counter if you give ticket with connection and having layover in domestic or international you should provide access for lounge hotel clients are ready for paying for good service but with indigo I have very bad experience I never use this airline again. No support no help worst airline

I recently had a great experience flying with Indigo Airlines. The booking process was simple and web check-in was easy and quick. The staff at the airport were polite and helpful. Indigo airlines is known for its punctuality and my flight was right on time. The plane was clean and my seat was comfortable. The cabin crews were professional and friendly. I strongly advise against choosing Indigo Airlines if you have other options available. If you must fly with them, ensure you arrive at least two hours before your departure time. My recent experience at Vizag Airport was terrible, and I feel completely cheated.


I booked my tickets just one day before the journey, and the fare was already double the usual price. Despite completing web check-in, due to unforeseen circumstances, we arrived at the airport 40 minutes before the scheduled departure time, rather than the recommended one hour. Upon reaching the counter to collect our boarding passes, we were bluntly informed that the gate was closed and there was nothing they could do.


It became evident that this denial was intentional. I had booked a morning flight at 8:40 AM, and the next available flight was at 12:25 PM, with over 30 seats available. It felt like they purposely denied us boarding just to make more money by forcing us onto the later flight. We were charged an additional ₹2, 500 per ticket. To add to the frustration, we couldn’t even purchase these tickets immediately; we had to wait until 11:25 AM—just one hour before the flight's departure—to secure them. This process was confusing and frustrating.


When we were initially denied boarding, the staff told us we were late and should have arrived at least an hour before, even with web check-in. However, after being forced to wait, we were suddenly allowed to proceed through the entire process, including security checks, within that same one-hour window. This inconsistency in their process was baffling.


My 10-year-old daughter was in tears after we were denied boarding, and the behavior of the Indigo staff was shockingly rude and insensitive. While we understand that we were late, they could have at least treated us with some courtesy.


It’s clear to me that this was a deliberate attempt to profit from us by filling up the 12:25 PM flight. I’ve seen different treatment from other airlines in similar situations—for example, SpiceJet staff at Chennai Airport helped passengers who arrived at the last minute by carrying their luggage and getting them onto the flight.


In the end, we’re all human beings. I urge Indigo Airlines to consider the feelings of their passengers and strive to treat people with respect and understanding, even in challenging situations.
