The administrators of Mouthshut.com noticed that certain members were posting overtly positive reviews for promoting certain brands while writing negative reviews marring the reputation of rivals.
Also, in the radar were members who were posting negative comments and not useful ratings to positive reviews of rival brands. With due diligence of three months, these fake profiles were deleted. This shows MouthShut.com’s determination in providing a true vicarious experience to its users also keeping its influence on brands in mind.
