Today, we all know that in this modern era how education has taken a modern & different turn. There were the days when education has its limits from classrooms to house, from schoolwork to homework. But now it is exploring its wing. Now education has become more practical in comparison of last decade. Today’s youth is becoming more practical in their life. Now almost all schools provide the extra circular activities like Music Classes, Dance Classes, Self Defense Classes etc., which is good, but in our time, there were nothing like that.
But there was one thing in our syllabus which is almost vanished now days from this modern education. And that is Moral Education. And I think this should be the most important part of education system now; because today’s youth don’t have patience power in them. They don’t know anything about moral values. They know about almost everything of this materialistic world but what about the moral values???? According to this modern era, they are almost perfect or you can say very talented in their respective fields but what about the spirituality????
Last year, when I was enjoying sun shine in a cool winter morning outside my office, I saw some schoolboys (Hardly of 14-15 Yrs. of age) with a bricks in their hand and they all were chasing a boy to beat him up and he was already bleeding. His shirt became red with his blood. But those boys were not ready to spare him. They were so much full of aggression that they didn’t think about their families or his family even for a second. And that’s all because of less Moral & Spiritual Education.
What I think is that moral education is more important & valuable than other things. Sometime I ask myself, why children are so less enduring now a days? Why young generation has becoming so much inpatient? May be they are not taught moral & spiritual education properly. In schools & other institutes there should be lessons on moral values also for the sake of good future of everybody. And parents also should take care about their children’s moral values because it is their responsibility to make them internally strong so that whatever situation comes in front of them; they can think wisely & respond wisely. Today’s education teaches us how to be successful in life, but it does not give much importance how to be a good human being!!!
With technical & modern studies they can earn money but not satisfaction & happiness; they can be practical & modern person but not spiritual person; they can make a lot of friends on Internet but it is very hard to find a true & trustful relation.
It is not about youth but it’s about all of us!!!
