Where There is a Will There is a Way...

Meeting online friends was a passion for me when I started having good friends mostly through chatting, orkut, etc.. I have met many friends who came in touch with me through internet. Soon I came to know about MS and became addict of it. First I have got a good chance to meet many MS friends in Mumbai MS meet last year and again I met with some more online pals in Chennai/Southern MS meet yesterday.
Chennai MS meet is very different to other MS meets happend so far. It was very well managed and professionally oraganised by a very experienced person, Mr. Benjamin Ross and its all due to his honest efforts we all got a chance to meet here in Chennai. I was not online since some time but I was getting all the updates through his calls and messages and also my wife kept me update about the new happenings. Now I think it was good that I wasn't online to see those controversial issues happened because of this meet. I didn't understand what were the issues in this simple meeting that gave some people to talk about the organizer who made so nice efforts to contact many people and invite them to the meet.
Anyway ultimately the southern MS meet ends with a grand success due to the presence of many members and their beloved family. Uncle Ross has done wonderful arrangement for the meet. A good air conditioned hall with the facility of projector and live website through his laptop. Also he has invited Mr. Marcus from TOI to know and write about the objective of the meet.

Mr. Mazhar Nawaz, Mr. Umesh Derebail, Mr. Santosh Paulose, and Mr. Azam Khan, all came through driving from Bangalore.
Mrs. Deepa and her husband Mr. Ravi and lovely & cute daughter Mahima.
Mr. Sridhara Murthy with family, wife, Daughter Prapulla, and son Varun.

And one more person was there but I don't remember his name, will update this list after confirming with Ross Uncle.
I have started at 4:30 PM as uncle Ross asked me to come before to help him in arrangements. But I was stuck in traffic and long way from my home to the venue and reached their around 6 PM. Nisha and her family were with us in the lift but I didn't recognized her. Also Deepa with her family entered into the hall with us. First I met with Uncle Ross, Mr. Umesh and Mr. Nawaz at the entrance and after exchanging wishes we settled there.
Mr. Sridhara and family arrived to Chennai late night before the meet and other Bangalore team reached some time before the meet enjoying their journey through road from Bangalore to Chennai.
The meet started with a lovely prayer by little participant Mahima and then followed by introduction by every participant. Mr. Ross keep on updating about the agenda and important activities related to meet. Mr. Nawaz has gifted a nice shirt and sweets to Mr. Ross as thanks for his honest efforts to organize such a meet...
Then Mr. Umesh and Mr. Nawaz has shared very useful and valuable thoughts with us. Mr. Nawaz has taken too many initiatives for the social cause and he wish to have more involvement from the participants in his social campaigns. Mr. Umesh has presented the useful features of the website and Mr. Gokulavan has shared his innovative thoughts in the form of very informative images.
Mrs. Deepa with Mahima welcomed all with a nice story with a moral to open ur mouth to say ur thoughts...there were many good discusions happened during the meet and all the members and their family shared their thoughts...Members have shared their experience with MS and other things...
Then Mrs. and Mr. Ross distributed MS gifts to the participants. And little Mahima gifted roses to all.
In the end we enjoyed delicious dinner and shared contact details with each other...and we have promised to do take more initiatives to collect more members and do something for social cause.
This meeting will remain fresh for ever in our hearts and minds and we will definitely keep in touch with other...
